Submissions

Submissions

We accept blog submissions from anyone. The only criterion is the blog must relate to law, even though remotely. While sending submissions note that we publish only original and unpublished blogs which fulfil the mentioned requirements.

We follow a blind review process for all the submissions. We may ask the contributors to revise their blogs based on editorial feedback. However, editorial feedback does not guarantee publication. We reserve the sole discretion on the decision of publication.

Requirements:

  • We strongly encourage submissions between 500–1200 words. If your blog crosses the word limit, please justify your reasons in the email. We allow longer blogs only on rare occasions judging by their merit and relevance.
  • We want the contributors to be precise and clear in their language as we strongly focus on making the blogs accessible to the general audience.
  • We request the contributors to follow the University of Oxford Style Guide for formatting and stylistic issues.
  • We encourage the contributors to avoid footnotes when in-text hyperlinks suffice. If the in-text hyperlinks do not suffice, we request the contributors to follow the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA) for referencing.
  • If any author is not familiar with these style guides, we help them to incorporate those into the blog.
  • Like all other professional writing, we expect the contributors to avoid making ad hominem attacks and using any sort of defamatory language.
